Ali has been console gaming since the tender age of eight. Though he prefers sports and first person shooter games, he played and conquered just about anything he could get his hands on. In college, Ali went to great lengths to orchestrate the ultimate group session for his favorite game of all time, Halo 1 on XBOX. He single handedly ran a 200 foot Ethernet cable halfway up the block from this fraternity house to another frat so he could play 8 on 8 capture the flag matches. Since then Ali has Beta tested gaming content for Microsoft and for three years served as a host/correspondent for www.e3insider.com, the ESA’s official coverage of the event. In addition, Ali also hosted an MTV pilot show about video games (Omake) which aired in 2002.
